GONZO my 1982 Freedom 25 sailboat

GONZO my Freedom 25 yacht:
This blog will document the continued restoration of my 1982 Freedom 25 sailboat, along with all the experiences I have. I purchased my F25 in the winter of 2009 from the 3rd owner who had the boat in NH. Gonzo has a composite rotating winged mast, yanmar inboard diesel, a Gun Mount spinnaker pole and staysail. This is my 1st cruising sailboat and I look forward to learning how to maintain and slowly restore and sail in Narraganset.

Holding Tanks

well I've been working on my holding tanks, for the F25 when I purchased my boat it did not have a waste holding tank as it was removed and the water holding tank was filled with antifreeze. I also would like to create more storage in the cabin and move weight forward and more central and close to the center of the boat if possible.
what I have found:
1. I have moved the existing water holding tank to the port side and will use for waste storage
2. I have used a rectangle plastic holding tank mounted vertically below the sink for fresh water
after a rough layout I'm happy with the new locations, and will be working on hose layout and fitment.
next for me is to reinstall the head and finish the repair to the head encloser and mounting.
