GONZO my 1982 Freedom 25 sailboat

GONZO my Freedom 25 yacht:
This blog will document the continued restoration of my 1982 Freedom 25 sailboat, along with all the experiences I have. I purchased my F25 in the winter of 2009 from the 3rd owner who had the boat in NH. Gonzo has a composite rotating winged mast, yanmar inboard diesel, a Gun Mount spinnaker pole and staysail. This is my 1st cruising sailboat and I look forward to learning how to maintain and slowly restore and sail in Narraganset.

1st freedomyachts.org member help: F25 main

I have to thank Matt,
For helping me with this sail the boat came with a Melges 24 main but I really wanted the full batton orig to help with the rotating wing, I plan to test both sails and report the findings for all of you to see.

bottom paint: looking for best option

Well school has been taking all of my time, but still working on finding the best bottom paint for RI as I can for the $$. I've also decided to keep my F25 at Wickford for the 2010 season, and hoping to enjoy my first season in RI.
cheers,
